The Women in STEM club at Northgate High School hosted a meeting on November 7th to teach students about short circuits and electricity.

Students make light up circuit cards using copper tape, an LED light, and a battery.

“I loved making the cards, it was a fun and interactive activity that taught me more about STEM. I really like the Women in STEM club because of how informative and interesting it is and how we do fun activities that involve STEM in a creative way” – Ruth Ramsden (junior, pictured top left)
