On December 15, Her STEM Space hosted an event at the Walnut Acres Elementary School Children’s Center. We taught elementary school students about engineering through building structures using spaghetti sticks and marshmallows. The students had a lot of fun trying to build the tallest tower, discovering how bases of different shapes supported their structures better, and eating marshmallows afterwards!
