Her Stem Space

My name is Angie Yao and I am a rising freshman at Princeton University! I founded the Women in STEM club at my school and the Her STEM Space nonprofit to inspire girls to pursue STEM! My interests are engineering and computer science.

Hi, I’m Helen, and I’m a rising sophomore at The Winsor School, an all-girls school in Boston. I am super excited to join the leadership team at Her STEM Space and can’t wait to make an impact on the STEM community! I love exploring different STEM topics, especially in biology, and supporting research in Alzheimer’s disease. I believe STEM education should be provided equally to everyone, regardless of gender, race, or financial status. In my free time, I enjoy playing field hockey, hanging out with my friends, and writing. I am ecstatic to join the Her STEM Space community!

My name is Aleah Clark, I go to Northgate High School and am in my junior year. I believe it is important to show young girls that STEM is an accessible option and a fun one at that.

I’m Hailey Liu, and I’m a junior at Northgate High School. My chemistry class originally got me interested in STEM, providing me with a space to apply math, scientific concepts and problem-solving in my coursework, and now I’m very excited to share my love for it with other girls like myself!

My name is Lavanya Arora, I am from British Columbia, Canada, and I am in grade 9 at New Westminster Secondary School.
